Editing/deleting

I can't seem to find the EDIT button on a thread I started. Is there a way to edit or delete a post?

I had the same problem, I was logged in at top of screen and in the posting rules said I may edit , but no EDIT icon appeared on any thread that I posted. looks like it is working on this thread, but on my older threads. I can not edit. any of my threads but this one.

I thought I read at some point that Edit is only available for a finite time. I'm not sure they said what that time was. Could this be it ?

That is correct... you are only allowed to edit a thread after a certain amount of time... then it becomes set in stone.
