:?: :?: Anyone hear Edmond: "Testing one, two, three, four, five, four, three, two, one" yesterday around noon? TG 25616. I heard it several times, so my BC780 was quite sure of the Talk group number.

I wasn't monitoring Edmond yesterday, but today on Cleveland Co SO (26896) sounded like they were testing new radios. They advised dispatch that they would be testing radios and then started "testing, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, fiiiiiiiiiiiive, 4, 3, 2, 1...end radio test....radio shop clear.."

They did this several times.....around 1pm...

They have been testing the Digital on the Tulsa system (Heard in Tulsa) since January 2004. The known talkgroups which have been found where Digital testing is taking place have been posted to Radio Reference.

There is still alot of people saying EMSA in Tulsa is going to be Digital by August or September. August is just around the corner. That move could mean using Talkgroups like 30288. I have not heard Digital traffic on that talkgroup, today there was a few people talking on 30228 concerning going to lunch! LOL

When possible I try to listen to the Tulsa system with all know talkgroups which are not Digital being locked out. That is how the current Digital talkgroups were found. The talkgroups are mostly short and missed during a normal scan with all known talkgroups unlocked.

I think they may have been working on the link between the Norman system and Cleveland County SO. I heard that traffic on both systems. The link is TG 16368 on the Norman system. It rebroadcasts TG 26896 from the Oklahoma DPS TRS.

Still Analog :D
