Hi Folks,
Just got a BC-246T a few weeks ago and am having fun learning about trunking, etc. Got my local Edmonton EDACS system in the scanner and have a question about some EPS lingo.
What does the designation 'high car' mean in a given sector? Sometimes the dispatcher asks someone to be the new 'high car,' when units move around, get new assignments, etc. Is it just the senior officer on shift or something?
Looking forward to learning and listening more, so far all I have in the scanner is the Edmonton Public Safety EDACS system.
