I'm just listening to what I assume is police catch a home invasion suspect and they're on 'EFD alt Dispatch', is it normal for other agencies to use EFD channels? Just curious.

EFD Alt Dispatch? What is the decimal number of that channel. I have never heard of any channel called that. There is EFR Dispatch 1 (1057) and EFR Dispatch 2 (1058).

I agree with Jon, I never heard of EFD Alt Dispatch either, But!! I have heard the MWS (Mobile Work Stations aka computer terminals) and pagers called Alt Dispatch
