That's good .. cause their current 413 MHz system really sucks. :twisted: It will be nice to see that the current Edacs system will be around for some time as it really does work very well.

Anyone have any idea if Calgary Transit will consider doing something similar to make them compatible with the Tri Services on a digital APCO25 system?

Nice article from August 2008. It's a good thing they plan ahead. Completed by the end of 2009. O.K. they are a little behind but who has the 9 million dollars in their pocket
Maybe they can complete it in time to have a joint kickoff with the Provincial First Responders system.

There are iDEN to CalgaryDigitalRadio TalkGroup patches for Alberta Sheriffs (Highway Patrol, amoungst other Sheriffs units) I imagine that the same can be done for Calgary Transit talkgroups as well.

i do believe that calgary transit uses iDEN
