Effingham Firefighter Involved in MVA

I was at work minding my own business when I hear someone on the radio saying he's been in an accident.

The Effingham FF was responding to a MVA when he was involved in one himself. Command reported that he was heavily entrapped in the vehicle. It was nearly 45 minutes from the time the accident was reported to the time the patient was extricated from the vehicle.

Was there ever any update on this? I heard it the night it happened, but never saw any updates on the FF's condition anywhere.

Update on Effingham Fire Fighter

I am his wife, He broke his back T10-T12, all his ribs, both clavicals, both collerbones. He was in Maine Med for 26 days. He had a spinal fusion on his back, He then got a staph infection in his incision so he went back in the hospital and is still in the hospital today. There is a spaghetti fundraiser on 1/29 from 6-8 at the Effingham Elementary School. Cost is $5 Adults and $2 children at the door.
