I think a while ago someone asked what happened to EHC PD in Atlantic County. I thought they moved to the county trs but this article says otherwise:
http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/local/atlantic/story/5841457p-5857032c.html
Now the (old?) EHC PD VHF freqs have been dead for some time now (hence why I thought they moved) so this article really confuses me. I even remember a short time after they went dead hearing a Galloway dispatcher tell an officer that he couldn't set up a patch with EHC because of the "encryption." So now I really don't know what to think. I believe most of the Galloway portables cannot do ProVoice (their main channels are analog, dispite what this article says) so maybe that's what the dispatcher meant?
Anyway, just an FYI for whoever was asking way back when. Any help into my flawed logic is appreciated. Maybe they still use their VHF freqs but I just can't pick them up anymore for some reason...
