Cool to whoever submitted those updates. I found different info for a few of them though. I got the following using the decode on the 785:

Placerville PD with a PL of 146.2, not 167.9
El Dorado SO East with a PL of 136.5, not 167.9. I have 136.5 across all of their channels.

Also, Contra Costa SO:
Court had 136.5 PL like most of their others.
Central also had 136.5, not the 203.5 listed in database.

Now I'm really curious who's doing all these updates in the Sac/San Joaquin valley. It's great that you're adding all these freqs, but without tones, this is next to impossible to sort out.

Several of the new freqs are used by several agencies. Some may just be county/city issues where they're all on the same system and have different channels for agencies. However, signals travel really far out here, so it's tough to sort out. For instance, someone listed Tracy PD as using 460.475. I also have San Joaquin SO South (PL 186.2) using that too. Anyone know if the info is right?

Another problem I have is when someone in Placer, Sutter, or Yuba uses the same as a San Joaquin, Contra Costa, Stanislaus. I can get both. If you've got a 100% rock solid info source, please share.

County courts in Contra Costa doe use the 203.5 PL as it should have been listed in the database. I'm not sure why we use that PL instead of the county wide 136.5 one.

Re the El Dorado freqs, SO for the West Slope, PL 136.5 would be correct.
SO for the East Slope (SLT), I don't know. For fire freqs, it's listed under CDF. For the Placerville PD, my Bearcat 780 and 895 both showed PL 167.9, and the input 156.015 also showed 167.9 I can't explain the discrepancy. Norman.

Maybe it's possible I'm hearing a different agency. I heard them talking about Hwy50 and other stuff (thought don't recall exactly what now), and the reception was like 5 or 6 bars on my 785. I'll pull it up , and listen for more landmarks. (I'd hate to cause a stir when I just made a mistake).

Bill-I saw that correction in the other post as well. I can't remember if I changed it at some point, but I've definitely put it back.

On a side note, sorry if I dropped an "f bomb" on the Nextel that night you got the books back from me. Forgot you had the kid and such in the car (not used to that kind of thing).

*EDIT*-Well, I just listened to a vehicle stop on "Broadway", so I'm guessing I was wrong. Sorry bout the confusion. Didn't hear any other landmarks, but I'll bet it is Placerville PD on PL 167.9.

This brings up the question of who I WAS listening to on 146.2
