quick question for everyone using one of these drop amplifiers. I just bought one on ebay, opened up the package, and noticed there is no power adapter. Do these drop amps need to have power to them or can i run it without?

You'll need the power adapter. It's a 15VDC 200mA transformer.

Or, you might be able to find a 15VDC transformer cheaper and modify it to work. Just remember to make the center pin positive for the input.

thanks, that explains why the price was so cheap, lol...I went ahead and found a new power supply on E-bay, should be here next week.
