Elevating my Scantenna

On a whim I just switched the antenna feeds to the two scanners and both are still receiving the same as before the switch.
Using Win500 I analyzed the signal at the same time on both scanners. The 106 (the one that seems to work better) averaged 94% with a highest at 100% and a low at 89%.
The 197 averaged 90% with a high id 93% and a low of 76%
Both units are programmed the same via Win500 (same data file)

Again suggestions, and thanks

PS above all reception is better than it has been in a year, just by a simple question and answer here.

30 seconds after I pressed post……
The fire department started their morning tone test to all stations. All report back in numerical order. With both scanners on and also the web feed all units were receiving the same, but there were missed transmissions. Reporting companies heard on all three scanners were 1,6,8,10,11,13,20, 21, Possibly one or two missed by me, but you get the idea..
Three scanners all missing the short response seems odd.
