Is there anything else in Ellensburg to listen to than public safety?

Indeed. Ellensburg is a county seat Washington. Has a state university too.

You might occasionally hear trains on 161.250, although the line was embargoed due to lack of business. It may have traffic on it now.

That the question was asked in the forum for Washington state might be a hint.

Haha! or the fact that there is only one Ellensburg in the United States!

There's a ton of different things to listen to.

Do a google search for "Kittitas frequencies" and the Intercept Northwest list will come up, which contains every frequency that is owned in the area.

If you're so inclined, you can listen to some of the larger farms in the area.

Ellensburg Listening

What are you wanting to listen to in Ellensburg?
The current Ellensburg RadioReference.com scanner covers a lot of what you have, but I do not think there is much more you would want on there, and still be able to listen coherently. That scanner has a LOT now.

There are lots more thing to listen to that are not covered on the scanner, I will list a few.
Plant Nurseries, Irrigation Water Districts, County Fair (event center) Operations, City Utility Operations, County PUD Operations, Twin Cities Foods Operations, University Operations, Airport Operations, Transfer Station Operations, State DOT Operations, Puget Sound Energy Operations, Army Corps of Engineers, and so many more....
