ELT beconing on VHF and UHF Guard

This is getting out of hand. All the OP wanted to do was report what he heard.

We can all agree that 243 is twice 121.5.

We all also have to agree that modern ELT’s can and do transmit on both 121.5 and 243 at the same power level.

Let’s all get a good night sleep and stop fretting over this.
