Flight Makes Emergency Landing In Grand Junction
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) ―
No injuries are reported after a Houston-bound Continental Express flight made an emergency landing at Grand Junction Regional Airport Wednesday morning.
Some 45 passengers were aboard the plane that had taken off from Salt Lake City, when the pilots reported that they noticed smoke in the cockpit.
The flight landed safely at 9:18 a.m.
Airport emergency crews and the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the incident.
There's no word on the cause of the smoke.
