COOS BAY (AP) — Authorities say an emergency communication tower near the Oregon coast has been destroyed,
causing over $60,000 in damage. The World reports the Coos County Sheriff's Office is offering
a reward for the identification and conviction of the people responsible...

Why sites need barbed fencing, security cameras, motion alarms with video and audio feeds. Costs but beats having to replace a tower.

Oregon and other areas have a sub culture of anti radio tower and chemtrail freaks. One friend up there used to call me saying a cell phone tower was causing him and others headaches and he wanted to know if I could identify the tower so they could deal with it. I'm surprised more towers haven't been cut down up there.

marked understatement. If they can replace that tower & equipment for that price, I want to know the guy who knows a guy who can do that.

Hope they catch these idiots -- bet they will, too. Somebody is going to feel the need to brag about that one.

Just goes to show you that it's always good to have a backup plan. Hope they can work around this...
