Emergency Incident Notifications on Twitter

Just wanted to drop in and let you guys know that myself and trumpetman (Chris) are starting a page on Twitter for posting emergency incidents in and around the Charlotte Metro area, i.e. Charlotte, Concord, Salisbury, Gastonia, etc. Anyone that follows the page is welcome to tweet an incident or tag our page in their tweet.

The Twitter username for us is - @NotifyNC

As I said the page will primarily focus on the Charlotte Metro area, but if there is another major incident going on somewhere within the state then we will probably post it as well. I know we have an incident thread here within the NC sub-forum and we would like to think of this as an extension of that. If either myself or Chris can help you guys with any questions about this please let one of us know.

No the North Carolina Incident thread at the top of the NC Forum. Also, you won't here much from me the next couple of days as I'm on vacation. Chris may be posting some stuff though.

Well I've actually sent in 6 forms for CFP and not gotten the first response......... Is there another way I can get in touch with them? After the last time I gave up. That was about 2 years ago.

You might also want to research Zello as well. Jeff has been using it for his group for a while.
