Emergency radio system passes first tests

HAMILTON, Ohio — Can you hear me now? Good.
Butler County's new emergency communications radio system has been successfully tested at more than 2,000 locations across the county, according to project manager Matt Franke.

My fire district changed its apparatus numbers too. Example, instead of saying "Engine 31, Medic 31", the dispatcher says "Engine 331, Medic 831" instead. Kind of confusing, but the last 2 numbers should identify the station the dispatcher is referring to.
