Emergency Services Communications

Since Emergency Services Communications are not tolerated here. There is a thread for them. The link is below. By Emergency Services, I mean Fire, EMS, USAR, HAM, etc. There use to be a board called the HAM Shack on this site for them. What every happened? Anything that has to do with Emergency services communications can be posted there, HEAR codes, Lights and sirens info, etc.

** I realize this is in the monmouth county board, but it is for info for the WHOLE state!

I didn't mind when you posted on LISR... But WHY must you post this EVERYWHERE? Emergency Services communicatioins are welcome here, its called the RR Tavern! I was a little annoyed when you posted on both general and NJ General on LISR, but, figureed I'd let it slide. But JMR, PLEASE!

No, what pisses people off more is the repeated efforts to try and drum up business for a bulletin board that has been documented to steal material from other more respected, well established boards and websites.

Folks, when it comes to your scanning needs...stick with the originals - Fordyce, Radio Reference, N2NOV, NF2G...

Ok, I went to far with that. I am sorry for saying that SCANdal. You are a great asset to the forumms because your always good with info. However, that is true, It's my own opinion but I shouldn't of said anything. I am just mad about this because the rules change for different people which is wrong. I just want the site known. And this thing about the info is copied, it may very well be, but all in all, its the same info. There is no possible way to change it unless you want to change it all from MHZ to GHZ!

Completely agreed. Jon, quit the free and unsolicited advertising for a site what has no activity and just regurgitates (without even giving credit) what is posted so well here and on other sites. . There can be no pride in that. The new site is already on life support and has the reputation among most users that is not, repeat NOT, a positive one. The administrator is a known malcontent so let it die and stick to the listening side of the hobby. You're in over your head again son and will only be painted (or tarred and feathered) with the same brush as Steve-O. Do us all a favor and delete your post at the top of this thread. Once done, the rest of us will also do so and the issue will be forgotten
