My dad bought a custom green light when he was an EMT about 20 years ago at a place near the Albany Int'l Airport. From what he tells me, it was a light/radio/ect vendor for stuff like that and I wanted to check it out to see if they had parts for my multiple lights. Does anyone know of anyplace? He can't remember the name and I can't find it on google.

Albany Communications and Microwave is on Colvin Ave in Albany, near the Armory Center and Westgate Plaza.

I believe there is someone in Schenectady or Rotterdam that specializes in lighting...but I can't recall the name.

On-line is another source for parts.

The original place he's talking about used to be called Emergiquip, or Emergitech. They had a place at 14 Hemlock Lane off Watervliet Shaker Road by the airport. They've been out of business for quite some time now though. I used to get catalogs from them a long time ago, and have purchased various items from them in the pase.

Be prepared to pay a premium for anything you buy through a commercial shop. BNC connectors are around $7 or $8, just for one example.
