Emerson, Bergen County

Emerson FD and EMS are now being dispatched by Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch (NWBCD). Anyone know if the PD is also being dispatched by NWBCD?

'biker, is NwBCD using 158.7600 (100.0) to alert Emerson Fire and Emerson EMS? Also, how are operations being handled? My understanding is that EMS used the Emerson Police frequency (155.1900, $730) for ops and that the fire department used 166.2500, $299. Are those unchanged?

158.76 is being used by NWBCD to alert FD. I have not personally heard an EMS alert yet.

If they follow the trend like Tri-boro and other towns they'll stay on all their own frequencies. IF the FD didn't change frequencies, EMS didn't change. They would need to get new pagers or have them reprogrammed
