149.440, 150.100- Do EMS in Halton and Peel regions of Ontario have some security tone and currently they are still active? I only have information from 2015, I cannot find updated information for 2023.

Yes, there are page outs all the time on 149.440, and you can sometimes hear ORNGE on 150.1. Those province wide frequencies are CSQ (no tone).

Is your scanner capable of trunktracking? It is essential to listen to EMS properly using this system:

In Peel there are page outs on 414.7125 (but I think it's just a link frequency for 149.440). But if the OP is wanting to monitor chatter/dispatching, they'll need a trunktracking scanner.

Decoding the pages will let you narrow down the calls to your local station. EMS does not page out every call and generally the information is not as detailed as what is heard on FleetNet.
