I've been listening but missed the beginning of what is going on in Cape May County? They are requesting BLS ambulances from a number of different counties....

After all that hullabaloo on the statewide ems talkgroups, they are recalling all but 5 bls.
Private contractors came in and transported the patients out.

Yes, were evacuating about 103 residents from a Nursing home that had no power since during the storm and was expected to remain without power for a long duration. They did start to get things up and mobilized, and State EMS coordinators were on scene, but in the end they ended up handling most of the transports through private companies, and I believe only 5 or so stretcher bound patients were moved by public BLS units.
