I'm a medic with Liberty County, south of Savannah. The Southside guys all use cell phones to call the ED, as does everyone else to comes to Savannah. Memorial is the Level I trauma Center, so it's VERY busy. In several of the Savannah ED's, the radio is turned down (or off).
I still occasionally still use the radio to call a report or for orders, but only to Liberty.
