EMSA is now on 800 in Tulsa Digital and Encrypted

EMSA has gone 10-8 on Tulsa's 800 at about 5 am this morning. It has already been confirmed digital and encypted. Hope everyone has enjoyed listening to them because it is no more. It's kind of like an old friend has passed. Thanks for the memories and we citizens hope that you enjoy your new radios and technology and keep us safe. The channel is known as (EMSA 7A Dispatch) and the TG is (12400).

Tulsa EMSA 12400

I have heard analog and digital on the EMSA 12400. Last heard around 1:20 AM on 8 Sep.

That's interesting, do you know for sure if the 12400 TG is encrypted to where you can pick up the digital or analog but when encypted the transmissions may sound like noise or Donald Duck.

Yes I can plug those talkgroups in to the Pro 96 and listen to see what is taking place.

Another interesting talkgroup is 11312. This afternoon digital testing is taking place on the talkgroup.

Concerning 12400, I am sure it was heard in both analog and digital. The digital is encrypted, at the time I heard it was.

Outside the trunked system, frequency 860.9625 has been running digital communication. It is not an I-Call. This could be a data communications for an agency such as EMSA.

a little sad that the UHF med channels won't be used very much like they
used to.
Will St. John,TRMC & Hillcrest remain on Med 3 463.05?
Will St. Francis & SouthCrest remain on Med 4 463.075?

All the old UHF radios are going to be kept as a backup and used for special events etc. The new med channels are all digital and encypted. They include...

12400 7A Dispatch Digital and Encrypted
12432 ? Digital and Encrypted
12592 ? Digital and Encrypted
12624 ? Digital and Encrypted
12656 ? Digital and Encrypted
30288 7E or 5E Analog and can be monitored.
