Encrypted Channel on Mobile's System?

34032 is a talk group that does some strange things on my 396t.

First, the scanner won't lock onto it while its scanning. Either in ID or SEARCH mode.

Second. I fired up the 245 and sure enough it hit on the talk group a time or two, but the audio was just hash. Ok.. Digital then.

Third. Went back to the 396T and played with the threshold level on the digital control. Nothing. Won't lock into the digital portion of the signal.

Can anyone confirm or deny what I am hearing and seeing on my scanner?

That 34032 converts to (AFS) 06-080 which belongs to the City of Chickasaw,Al. It is their all call channel. Scanner1143
