sat straight up in bed around 3am last night when i heard the sounds of analog encryption while monitoring CPS with the BC296...
i could not tell what talkgroups it occurred on, since i was monitoring input frequencies, but it was the familiar sound of bacon frying...
has anyone in the area heard this before?
the only thing i can think of is their security/police are required to use DES/DVP encryption after the whole 9/11 thing...
