ENGLEWOOD - The Englewood Fire Department says fireworks may be to blame for a Saturday morning house fire.
The fire started at a duplex around 2:25 a.m. at 2033 W. Harvard Ave. It then spread to the unit next door, 2035 W. Harvard Ave.
The resident at 2033 W. Harvard Ave. got home while firefighters were fighting the fire, according to the Englewood Fire Department. The resident at 2035 W. Harvard Ave. was inside but was able to get out of the home safely.
Neighbors say the resident at 2035 W. Harvard Ave. used fireworks before the fire started. It has not been confirmed if fireworks did in fact cause the fire.
