Just picked up this rig at Dayton. Read the manual 3 times and I have a 796 and a 780 before that.

Can't figure out how to do the following:

--If I am in an area outside of the preprogrammed system and want to enter a single frequency inthe the sscanner to monitor, what's the easiest way.

I have searched the forum and have not found an answer.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much. NOt sure where that was in the manual.

I was trying the old Uniden enter frequency enter (useing the E key)but that was not working. Thanks for your quick response.

I thought I was losing it for a moment.

Thank you VERY much for this question/reply! I suppose I was lazy and just didn't look through the manual to figure this out, but it's been bugging me for the longest time, glad there is a way to do this!

Thanks again!

Download the user manual in .PDF format from Uniden.
Much more easily searched with Acrobat than with human eyes and fingers.
