Erie Co National Guard Snow Assistance

Just curious if anyone has caught any traffic related to PANG assisting Erie Co with the lake effect snow and stranded motorists...wasn't sure if Guard units were getting county radios, if locals were riding with them, or if Guard units are working on their own talkgroups on the state system.

There is a Guard representative at the 911 command post, along with PSP and many others. Requests were going through the 911 center. Most recent requests I have heard are to assist with difficult access situations and stuck fire apparatus. I have not heard guard units on the county system. I have been somewhat occupied with my snowblower the last few days.

I have been picking up TG 12166 on a regular basis on the Erie 80 tower.
Looking at the chart, I am assuming it is the PANG at work.

They are also mode TE so I cannot confirm the use or conversation.

Yeah, unfortunately, nearly all of the PANG talkgroups are encrypted, even for the FIG plumbers and HVAC.
I would imagine 12166 is for the unit based at the Cambridge Springs armory.
