Has anyone noticed the audio quality on 507 is horrible sometimes?
Also on several of the 50X groups the tones on tap out are distorted?
Four (4) VHF Interop’s = Chautauqua Co., Conneaut City Fire,
Conneaut City PD, and Monroe Township Fire.
▪ Three (3) UHF Interop’s = Government West, Government North, and
Government Northeast.
Since there are now 8 5XX TGs don't know what the other one is.
A correction to my post above 504 is Crawford Co Gov North not 505.

Same here. A lot of the testing the past 2 days has been garbled here. I hope it's better Monday!

My first guess is the radio shop setting up the system is not doing a very good job of adjusting the radio deviation and or the audio settings on the system interfaces.
The source of the distortion will take some effort by the radio shop to locate.
But non radio knowledgeable people using the system can hardly know what the audio should sound like. So as such the distorted audio will probably be there for some time.
It may take talking with someone in the department with some rank and get their feedback on the problem. Don't go in like a bull in a china closet, but walk soft and don't try to be a know it all in trying to solve the problems. Be soft on your approach and see if you can find someone that will listen. I have found that going in blind, not knowing someone internally in the department can be hard to bring up this kind of issue.

Hearing now it has been postponed until tomorrow. The PD cutovers were at 0700 for all the departments on their respective days.
EFD shift change is 0700 so it will probably be a bit later.

Erie City FD goes live tomorrow at or around 0800.
Millcreek Fire Departments go live Wednesday at or around 0800.
Remaining County Fire Departments go live Thursday at 0800.
Tested one of the radios last night (Sunday at around 2300) and the handshake time is a little long. Took over three seconds to get the talk permit tone.
ECI should be cutting over today as well
ECI is probably active on TGID 305 encrypted.
They are cutting over tomorrow. Not supposed to be encrypted.

I've downloaded the latest Radioreference for Erie, and get nothing on my SDS100 for the new P25 system. Anyone else have luck with the SDS100?
Do you know if Millcreek fire is still Wed.?
I have the 536, but on that you need to have the correct Service Types turned on and also the Favorite List Quick Key turned on.
