Sentinel: Error installing Sentinel for SDS100 on new Windows 11 Laptop

Good Day All

I just got a new Windows 11 Lenovo Laptop and I cant get Sentinel software to load. I backed up from my old computer to my cloud but trying to run it from there or move to my pc it went run or setup. Tried redownloading from internet but errors saying

This setup requires the .NFT framework version 2.0. Please install and rerun"

Isn't that part of Windows? Any way I downloaded .NFT 6.0 but doesn't work. I don't see version 2.0

I'm lost so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Never thought it would be and issue since I thought I had it backed up.

Just tried and looked great until i got Error Code 0x80073683

Says Windows Couldn't Complete the Requested Changes

I went in and deleted the one I downloaded earlier and ran it again. Now it worked.

I had the same issue with windows 11 and trying to install the software to program scanner. I came here looking for help and found my answer and all is well.

Thanks a MILLION --- I also had to get a new PC laptop with Windows 11 on board and I was about to jump off a bridge here until I found the "tip" [above] about activating that one magic little box, which turns on .NET 2.0 and 3.5. Thanks to all from NK7B in Minnesota.
