Over the past couple of days someone made changes to the Sacramento County entries in the database, and they are INCORRECT! Go here: http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&ctid=216

1. All of the listings under "Sacramento Regional Fire/EMS Communications Center" are not used. These freqs have been "abandoned" in favor of the TRS. 154.430 is "Camino Fire" in Placer county, and is used; but not by Sac Co.

2. All of the listings under "Sacramento, City of" are incorrect. Again Fire uses the TRS as does the PD. 460.050 was used by the PD back before TRS.

Thanks.

Maybe someone saw all those licenses that the County holds, from when we were talking about the Mednet (or whatever they're called) frequencies. There was a thread about a month ago about all the VHF and UHF frequencies the County holds licenses for, but doesn't use on a regular basis.

George,

Check that map again :)

Camino (Mt. Danaher) is well placed in El Dorado County and 154.430 is well used as "El Dorado Command"

Placer county fire is on a diff freq not avail off hand.

You are correct. I mis-spoke. Camino is in ED Co. (I knew what I meant and sometimes write/speak one when I mean the other).

BUT...
While the MED NET channels might be used by Sacramento, the Fire and PD freqs defenitely are NOT.
