Escape from search mode and return to scan mode

First of all, please please please do not simply email me the link to Mark's Scanners Easier-to-Read manual! I already have that, and I've spent forty-five minutes going through it and I cannot find the instruction.

I accidentally put the 536 into frequency search mode, and I cannot find any way to escape from it. How do I escape from frequency search mode, and get back to regular scan mode?

From Mark's manual:

Toggle ID Scan or ID Search


While scanning each Trunked System, press Func then E/yes.
Note: ID Search is not available with the Database.

That's for TGID search. Press Func+Sys to get out of frequency search mode.
