I've thought about deleting these channels/frequencies from my radios/scanners for a long time now. Glad I didn't. In a day and age of APX radios and encryption, it seems the Essex County Prosecutor's Detectives still utilize their UHF for some operations. I remember back in the day, one of the channels was used for the ATTF Task Force which was a blast to listen to. I just heard them call in for "Sheriff's Central" to advise them of where they were at. Then they called in a transport from that scene to their office. Aside from being a good find, my point it conventional is still very much alive, although IDK after this post. Hopefully this stays among us scanning enthusiasts.

I been harping on this for years, if someone is serious about the hobby you NEVER delete old data as you never know when it could be used again, there are many examples and this is only the newest one.
Lesson learned.
