Essex County trunked system

Just wondeing if anyone has any experience with the Essex county trunked system? I have it programmed into my psr600 and nothing. I know it's in there right but I never hear anything at all. Is it in use?

Also, I have given up on trying to monitor East Orange... I had some help and suggestions on here and did what I was told and still nothing. I'm about ready to give up on Edison also.

I have been scanning the Essex trunked system for a least 6 years, and have never heard anything on it. I don't know why they have this system, and don't use it. All traffic is on their 800Mhz conventional channels.

Hi Everyone...

In the winter the roads supervisors use it and it was also active during the deer hunt 2 years ago.
I keep the system in ID search since they really don't talk much on it.
