ETEMS' operations are all on TxWARN with the exception of the Waxahachie/Ellis Co. trucks. Due to various factors, the TxWARN site in Ellis Co. has not yet been built, so they are still operating on 572D, which is running in site trunking and is patched (via Smart-X I believe) to TxWARN.

If you're in Ellis Co. you can get by for a while with a non-digital scanner, but if you're buying new digital is the only way to go.

There's a note on that page to that effect;

"The bulk of this system has been decommissioned with exception of Ellis County (Waxahachie). All ETMC communications now occur on the TxWarn system."

ETMC on digital

Yes, in order to listen to 99% of ETMC EMS radio traffic you need a digital trunk scanner. I personally use the Radio Shack pro 106 and I really like it. Use the Arc500 software to make life easier. :)
