I did not know this fact about the Eton E1 (Non-XM) with the serial number starting out with NX 0000.
"John,
Is this statement below true about the Eton E1 (NON- XM)?:
"If you are familiar with these units, you will know that Eton discontinued the E1XM after about 9400 units and then finished up with under 1,000 of the Eton E1 units that were identical except not having the XM option. Thus, in some respects, these E1's with the lower serial numbers actually ranked as the very last produced units."
John's Response:
I do believe this to be true. But Drake had no direct hand in the manufacture of the E1. So any definitive answer of this type ought to be obtained from Eton.
Regards,
John Kriner
I always thought my Eton E1 with the serial number was the FIRST Batch to be made with the serial # NX 00835, Turns out that it was the LAST batch and close to the end of the run, that explains the firmware number: e1 58 that was the last firmware update.:lol::lol::lol:
