Eton/Grundig Executive Satellit

Color me impressed. The Eton/Grundig Executive Satellit that I ordered via Amazon arrived yesterday afternoon and I got just a little porch time with a random wire last evening. Good sensitivity on both the whip and the wire. In fact the whip was quite impressive. Did well on SSB once I figured out the fine tuning. Very easy to read.

This was running just over $91 when I ordered last weekend, but today it appears to be $109.99 new.

As I get a bit more time I'll update my observations. I really did not need another portable, but it hit my price point and the rest is history.

Note to self. Do not wear polarized sunglasses when trying to read the display on the Executive Satellit. I thought the display had died.

I've had this radio for just over 6 months now and it's the first one I grab to sit out on the front porch with weather permitting. I've even been known to plug it into the mag loop when upstairs.
