I am using Etrunker 3.8.3 version and with one slicer I have some of the "groups" are showing up as "patches". Yet switching to a different slicer they are showing up as groups. This is on the same system / same control channel at the same time.

It should be noted that in the first case not all the groups in that system are shown as patches on the system, just some. All of the data appears accurate, such as the id's of the radios etc. The program is showing 100% accuracy.

At the same time .. it has been determined that someone else with a different slicer is seeing them as groups.

Is there anything in the slicer that should be making this strange behavior ? (It just started happening a few weeks ago)

Any ideas would be appreciated ..

Have you run both slicers on your set up? If not, that is the first step to eliminate any differences that may exist between two different installations. If the two slicers give different results on the same set up, then a look a the circuits in the slicers may provide a clue.

I have connected a couple of different slicers to the setup and both of them are showing the groups as 'patches'. I am going to try to obtain a slicer that one of my friends has as showing as groups on the same system and try it on my setup and see what happens.

The original post is incorrect in that both of the slicers are showing these groups as patches.
