ETrunker & Trunker Not Work on Win XP

ETrunker & Trunker will not decode on Windows XP.

I am running MS Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2, AMD Athlon 1.33 GHz, and 2 GB of RAM, intergrated sound on the motherboard, and serial port as COM1. I am using an OptoCOM with serial cable to the COM1 port for the descriminator.

I am able to use the OptoCOM control software version 2.4 to control the OptoCOM, so I know the COM1 communications is working with the OptoCOM.

All help is appreciated.

those are DOS based programs and XP does not support DOS as the older windows platforms did. Use Unitrunker or get an old computer and make it a DOS machine.

There are a number of threads on this forum which indicate that people are successfully running Trunker on XP systems. See here for example.
