Eugene-Lane County system question

Maybe I just miss something but what does the Eugene-Lane County Shared Public Safety LMR have to do with Coos, Curry, Douglas and Josephine counties.

The system is actually called the SW 7 County Interoperable Public Safety Radio Partnership Project. The seven counties that make up the Partnership are Lane, Linn, Benton, Douglas, Coos, Curry, and Josephine Counties. Eventually the system could be expanded into those counties.

...but probably not without grant funds for some of those counties who can't keep a handful of deputies on the road.

Yeah. Thats how Linn and Benton Counties are paying for it with federal grants.
