I'm helping a friend listen to Eureka Springs PD. She contacted the PD directly, they told her that they switched to icom radios and NXDN. So far using SDR, ive seen transmissions on a few freqs, but they dont show in the DB at all. I find this strange because they're supposed to be registered with the FCC.

153.3875
153.5225
153.605
152.960
all DMR, unable to decode

I just asked her, she said they got it set up by Smith Radio.
She gave me frequencies of
transmit 151.07750
recieve 155.137.500
and possibly 151.137.500
I do see EUREKA SPRINGS, CITY OF in FCC, and I scan those, but nothing ever shows, weird.

Also, those are DMR, not NXDN. 2 Completely different animals. About the only things NXDN/iDAS, and DMR/TRBO have in common, are being narrowband digital.

I believe this is the set your looking for:
WNXD243
158.8500 Repeater Out
154.7100 Repeater In

155.1375 Repeater Out
153.7400 Mobiles/Input
151.0775 Mobiles/Input

Licensed to Eureka Springs PD, and yes NXDN and Narrowband FM per the Emission Designators. If you can confirm digital audio then I will go ahead and post them in the DB. And if you do get the RAN etc, that would be awesome!

Fire shows as:
155.3400 For EMS/FD, also NXDN and Narrowband FM License WRE408
This is an Base/Mobiles

WPXL957
Eureka Springs VFD, as well as ALL VFD's in Central/West Carroll County.
Narrowband FM, and NXDN
156.1650 Repeater Out
155.7450 Repeater Out
153.8900 Repeater In
158.8200 Repeater In

Again, confirmation of Digital is appreciated, as well as RAN's etc... Or if they run analog, tones used.

On these, which are an Utility, if you do get DMR Decode, DSD+ etc running on them, and nab the CC's, Slot usage etc, that would be awesome also!

I live about 10 miles from Eureka and the only traffic I hear is Fire dept. from the RR DB conventional freqs. The above would explain why that is. I was told Carroll Electric went dark awhile back (no pun intended) and would suspect it was DMR. This worries me as there are several agencies in close proximity in county and adjoining counties that are switching over to DMR even though they are setup also on AWIN. I just wish the BCD536 I just recently purchased would decode DMR with a firmware update if possible. Surely there will be a scanner in the near future with DMR decode built in.
I'm not interested in having to run a scanner through a pc and using software to decode it.
