Evansville system

Anybody have some more details on the evansville system?
It seemed like when i was listening to it some of the traffic was both on the east and the west system. But then i hear some officers tell each other to switch to east or switch to west which makes it sound like it is not linked.
Maybe only a few TGs? Or maybe i'm just crazy?

Both the west and east tower TX the same exact traffic.

So when they ask eachother to switch, it's just because the officer asking can hear that the other guy doesnt come thru clear?

I only have heard DISPATCH say switch to so and so TOWER that is because of maintence or a problem with one site.

Ahh, ok. Yeah, i'm in owensboro, so i dont listen to evansville enough to recognize the dispatchers when im over there.

When the dispatcher says go west ,south, East that means the channel each sector has its own channel like car to car. they do have East and west towers they are the same broadcast incase one tower goes down.
