Does anyone know what event is going on now that's using I-TAC ONE (866.5125)? I heard them say that they are also using FRS radios.

Yeah, that was us  !!! Is you watched the 5pm news, you saw that there was a mock "Riot" situation held at Lowry at Community Collage of Aurora. We were using I-Tac for the medical and fire. Yes, FRS radios were also used. We were on channel 9 PL 11 for FRS which was basiclly all for police command. It was a really cool event and, my first time using a fire department XTS-5000 model III

Yeah. The radio communications that day were a joke. Sadly, we forgot the EDACS P7100IP radios back at the station and we noticed that as we were in the fire engine about 3/4 the way there....so, what did we have to do??? Well, heh, I have an XTS-5000, Bendix King (I think is what its called) and sadly a Motorola FRS talkabout. What we had to do, was use the FRS to call police, the XTS to call fire (Thornton and then they would run over to the Aurora rig) and the King radio to call AMT (I had never heard of it, but its some group called the Aurora Medical Team on VHF). I was laughing in confusion when we got there and found out what we had to do.
