Anybody ever had this problem, or have any ideas.
A while back I bought a used Pro92(b) of e-bay.
After I got it, I loaded it up with the right frequencies and tried to use it.
It would not work at all, It wouldn't even receive any of the Weather Frequencies in this area. There are 2 strong stations here.
I played with it for 20-30 minutes and I never did get it to work right, frustrated I quit messing with it.
I had it hooked up to an A/C Adapter. Turned it off but left it hooked up.
Maybe about an hour later I started messing with it again.
It 'magically' started working, and I haven't had any problems since.
any ideas what could have been the problem?
Didn't change the antennas at all. I had it hooked up to the Mag Mount I have outside on top of the A/C
I thought it might have had something to do with the fact that it had not been powered on for a while by the previous owner, but there is no way for me to verify that. Besides that doesn't seem to make any sense anyways,
