EVERGREEN - Firefighters say a motorist had to be airlifted to the hospital after his vehicle caught fire Saturday.
According to the Evergreen Fire Department, the driver of an SUV was traveling west on Interstate 70 when the vehicle rolled down an embankment at mile marker 244 and caught fire. The person inside was burned and airlifted to St. Anthony Central.
The driver's name and condition were not immediately available.
No other information was available Saturday night.
