EVERGREEN - A five-year-old girl was flown to Denver's Children's hospital Saturday night, after falling in to a swimming pool.

The girl was with her family, who were attending a private function at the Evergreen Fitness and Tennis Center.


A person at the event noticed the girl in the pool, pulled her out and had others call 911.

Witnesses tell Evergreen Fire Department that they noticed the girl, and believe she was under the water for a couple of minutes.

The girl was flown out of Evergreen in a helicopter to Children's hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
