I know that Evergy moved to DMR. Read that it's for plant communications. What about the radio communications between the linemen and their dispatchers
(ie. distribution/transmission service operators)?

The Evergy DMR T3 system:

Is the system that is used for distribution/transmission operations (and several of the power stations). There are two confirmed tower sites in Wichita, with a third licensed on the West Side (but it wasn't on the air when I did the original surveys a couple of years ago).

There is a separate DMR T3 system with 2 sites supporting Wolf Creek Generating Station at Burlington (I have some of the data for it in the Wiki, but never got enough data to fully report it to RRDB).
