So what does ever source use in Litchfield county? On scan ne I see that they are starting a new 200mhz trunked system. But are they still on low band in this area?

Last I tried to listen in the Hartford and Tolland Couty areas, they were unsing/heard on lo-band. That was gonna be my guess, but wasn't sure. More use of MDTs and less use of radios.most trucks have MDT's
Same with United Illuminating
The only time I hear anything is when a unit is experiencing a MDT issue...then its back to the old fashioned wayThat was gonna be my guess, but wasn't sure. More use of MDTs and less use of radios.

Years ago when it was first known Eversource was building a 220 system I was told in Ct it was to be used for data, little or no voice at all. That may have changed. I am also led to believe the system is already being used in Ma. I haven’t done a search for Ma but it might be where you can get more info.

Im gonna do a search on my scanner in the 200 and see if I get a dmr control channel signal. If I do then I’ll throw it into DSD.Western MA MPT1327 217 & 220 still active but it is a pain to confirm as it needs to be done with SDRTrunk.
CT is the new DMR system but the newer Tait radios can do both DMR & MPT1327.
Alright I'll give it a shot. thanksIf you are using DSDPlus Fast lane, simply use FMP24 and go to 217.00000. You then set the bandwidth to 7.6 and the step to 6.25. The frequency range for the CT sites is 217.00000 - 217.50000
If you are using the scanner, be sure your steps are 6.25KHz.
