I live in the California desert but have been able to receive NAVTEX from both coasts. Every transmission comes out as UNID.

What have I forgotten to do?

Thanks.Untitled-1.png

The message is east coast, (looks coast guard or NOAA
I have found a number of coast stations that don't send ID. Probably nothing wrong.

If you want to follow up on this some more, there's a reflector on groups.io devoted to NAVTEX DXing - no doubt some of them are using YAND and may potentially be helpful

I`m surprised that some of the other HF frequencies for Navtex aren`t mentioned on that site. I decode the bulletins on 8416.5 kHz every evening, and have occasionally received them on 6314, 12579 and 16806.5, depending on the time of day and the conditions, of course. 8416.5 is the most reliable frequency at my location, usually from Pt. Reyes, Calif., but I`ve also picked up Navtex from Iqaluit in Canada`s far north, albeit rather weakly.

As for the LW frequencies, they`re totally unusable here due to severe RFI.
