Im ready to buy my next handheld scanner and was thinking about asking the opinions of the experts here in the forum. I like the BR330T for 200 new although the 246 seems good too. Any feedback would be great.

I love my 246. Nice and small. Sensitivity seems nice. CC DND was added with latest firmware. Nice big clear display. Great scanner to learn on if you have never had DMA before. Great frequency coverage.
Memory is not huge. I have to keep a couple of profiles on the computer to upload and swap programming depending on where I am going with it. External power connections seems to be a weak point as with many Unidens. Have had trouble with two models and seen lots of posts from others on same subject. Squelch seems to hang open at times. Saw a post on how to do a mod to cure squelch issues. Cannot do multi-site systems. 346XT is due out soon which will eclipse its capabilities. I would still like to have another one and probably will when the price falls after the 346XT comes out.
